I’m a self-taught artist based in Salem, Massachusetts, working primarily in woodblock printmaking. I create simplified, atmospheric landscapes entirely from hand, printed on handmade Japanese paper with only earth and mineral pigments — including ochres, umbers, iron oxides, and other traditional pigments.

My practice is deeply informed by the Arts & Crafts movement, particularly its emphasis on traditional craftsmanship and natural materials. I am especially interested in the way pigments look and behave on paper. The soft, matte surface created as the ink settles into the fibers gives each image a quiet physicality that is central to my work.

Rather than treating each block as the basis for a fixed edition, I approach printmaking as an ongoing experiment, returning to blocks over time and exploring different colors, textures, and tones.
